On Saturday, July 3rd, Annie finally took me to the 6:00 am prayer meeting. That was enjoyable. The temperature in the mornings in Hagerstown was in the upper 50s. Sure did feel good. After prayer meeting, we had breakfast downstairs.

The Castang family was responsible for fixing lunch. Of course, I got to be in the kitchen, too. It was so much fun working with the family. My! I was afraid we was going to run out of food. There must have been close to 200 people there for lunch.

After lunch, Vivian, Darese and Melda wanted to go down to see the new dormitories they built to house some of the folks that came from far away to the Convention.

I wanted to go, too, but they didn't want to carry me around. So instead, Darese took me out to Melda's car and I didn't even get to attend the afternoon service. It was so hot in the car. I felt sick.

Finally, Melda came out to her car around 3:30 pm and we went to her house. It was so nice and cool there. I hadn't been there for a long time.

July 4th was the last day of Convention. I went to Sunday School and Church. Gary, Annie, Melda and I went to Panera Bread for lunch. I got to go to the 2:00 pm service. I was kept in a plastic freeze bag during church. I didn't mind because I didn't want to attract from the service and it was cool in there. Then I went home with Melda and Twila.
