June 2010 - Lousiana

Well, no trip to the log cabin. Guess I'll just sit next to the AC and try to survive this crazy Lousiana heat for a couple more days until Annie takes me to Hagerstown for Convention. Please let it be cooler there!!!

April 2010 - Maryland

Annie and I got to be home to help celebrate Sarah's 45th birthday. As they are trying to lose weight, Annie made a bluebery bar for snack instead of the normal cake and ice cream. I must say, it was pretty good. There wasn't a crumb left.

Back home in Lousiana with Annie now. Looks like I'll be heading up north next week, spending a few days in the mountains in a log cabin. It sure is a hot one here in Lousianna. I wouldn't mind staying somewhere else cooler.

April 2010 - Maryland

I went with a group of ladies from church to Cracker Barrel. Of course, I was sent around the table. "Joslyn, this is Batesy. Batesy, this is Joslyn."

April 2010 - Maryland

Poor Grandma Castang, someone always has something for her to do. Annie brought some long-sleeved shirts, needed them cut off at the elbow. Ooops, Grandma missed a stitch!

April 2010 - Maryland

One day, Annie and I got to babysit for Darese while she did some substitute teaching. Logan and Benjamin can really make that computer go! Logan gave me some of his gluten-free lunch. Not bad.

March 2010 - Maryland

I finally got to meet Kyle for the first time. The first time I saw him didn't count because he was only a couple days old and slept ALL the time. He sure can crawl fast. Annie made sure I was within the safety zone. By the way, Kyle, in case you were looking for one of your pacies....umm I snuck away with it.

March 2010 - Maryland

Meeting David's goats for the first time, liking the little ones, cause they were little like me.

They sure can run fast. "Hang onto your hat, Batesy!", everyone yelled.
